This is fanart from the story The Secret Garden, by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I read the book a loooong time ago, so actually it's more fanart from the 1993 movie based on the book, haha. I watched it... um... what was it, last night? the night before? and I fell in love with it again... I remember loving it when I was a kid, but you know how stories and characters grow within you even if you aren't aware of it, and when you come to revisit them, it's like you knew them better than you did before, even if so much time has passed?

... yeaaaah. Like that. I am soooo tired. And sick, still. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I dread going to the doctor. I hate hearing bad news. But it's been about a month, now... >_>;

I should be like Mary and Colin and just think happy thoughts, and then I will get better.

That background would have been hellish if it weren't for Photoshop brushes.

Dickon on the left with one of his horses (I'm sure he has more than one...), Mary in the middle, and Colin on the right. They're a little more grown-up here than in the book/movie, maybe five or six years have passed...? Making them around 15-17 years old?
