I'm sure there's a story behind this, but I can't think of it right now. 
Actually this morning at 5am I drew Toph and Zuko separately, and then at 11am, after reading some classic scifi stories and getting 3 hours of sleep, I went back to this and combined the two to make them less boring. So here you see them fighting side by side, Zuko telling the little blind girl, "Calm down." Odd coming from the fiery, short-tempered Zuko, eh?? xD; Well anyway, they're both a year older than where the show has them at right now. (I forget their ages exactly... 
) Zuko has his dual swords out, and Toph has some slivers of rock floating around her able fist.
Played with quite extensively in PhotoshopCS2. ^_^ That background is from a photo I took in Taiwan, back in 2001 or 2002.
