Here it is, my friends--the first Harry Potter drawing I ever did, way back when I was in high school (sophomore year? junior year? I forget). It was either 1999 or 2000... anyway, this is also probably my all-time favorite Harry Potter drawing. I believe I caught his innocence from before his third year.... You can see Mary Grandpre's influence in the way I drew his shirt, haha... ^_^; This was before the first movie came out, too--before even a whisper of it was even heard of one in the making.

Yay for old drawing styles. ^_^

And weird buggy glasses. ^_^;

Thanks! I think it's because I actually worked hard when I drew, back in those days. Now it's like my hand flies across the page, but not in any professional kind of way--more like it's just impatience. I need to rekindle that old passion for the simple act of drawing... ;_; *hugs*

yeah, i know the feeling! its the inspiration that i'm lacking these days... sometimes ideas fly from the pencil and then the passion just dies halfway into the piece ; ;
